The moving shadow!

This is a short story I wrote for my school assignment....

THE MOVING SHADOW

I was sitting on the sofa that late evening. My parents were not at home. I was scared! I cuddled up with my favourite cushion. I slowly pressed my finger against the rubber buttons of the t.v remote control. All the channels were showing horror movies. I had nothing to do so, I sat to watch one.
The movie kept on running, it never ended. The doors started to crack. I hugged my cushion even tighter than ever. The telephone rang in the t.v, bats hid behind the villian's back. When the interval took place, i ran to the kitchen for some popcorn. I tip-toed carefully so that, no ghost, vampire or zombie could appear from the off-white cracked walls, covered with greyish, whitish shadows. I cooked the popping popcorn and ran back to the sofa. I hugged my cushion tightly and stuffed loads of popcorn into my mouth.
After an hour or so, the movie ended with an evil laughter. I jumped up in terror! I was so frightened that i dint even bother to turn off the t.v, i ran to my room, slammed the door shut, turned off the lights and jumped into bed. My room was covered with different, wierd and scary shadows. I tried to shut my eyes tightly, but i just couldnt sleep. The shadows were moving! I could see ghosts moving in my head! I was so scared, that I woke up!
Phewww! It was just a dream. Everything was still and normal.
As the sun broke through my window and the dawn took place in the sky, i got up for school and totally forgot about the moving shadow!

A Long Hot Day

At last summer is here,
bringing long hot days.
Today I had my friend come over to my place. [just perfect, for my summer vacations]
We played a few exciting board games, created some new recipies for chocolate and listened to some real cool music........

A fun day

Yesterday, I had a very fun day. I did a lot of cool things at my friends place.
First we both made prank calls to our friend. Then we created delicious cookies and choco balls with a choco dip. We created a very nice ambience first and then we both served our desert in a very organized manner.
Oh! And then all the fun stoped when it came to say Good Bye to my friend.

These days go so fast

Summer is over
we are waiting
for a shower,
flowers start to bloom
we get a mushroom.

These are the bags I painted with a little help from my mom. Can you guess how they are made? From Fabindia paper bags. Cool is'nt it!

This is a recipe my friend and I made.

I hope you enjoy this Chocolate Almond Dip!

INGREDIENTS

7-8 cookies or biscuits

1-2 teaspoons of cocoa powder

9-10 teaspoons of cream

And a few almonds.

METHOD

Crush the cookies into very small pieces, almost like a powder.

Then take 1-2 teaspoons of cocoa powder & mix it with the crushed cookies

Take 9-10 teaspoons of cream & mix it with the cocoa powder & crushed cookies.

It will become like chocolate.

At last take some almonds and put it on top of your chocolate

& your Chocolate Almond Dip will be ready!

Serve it cold and enjoy it!

HAPPY FRIENDSHIPS DAY!!!

Yesterday was the awsomest friendships day I have ever had.
I spent the whole day with one of my best friends. We watched the movie Parent Trap. I might have seen this movie a hundred times but it still felt like I was watching it for the first time. We also made friendship bands and played a game called Twister, in that game we have to twist our body a lot, so we keep on falling down it is fun to play that game. Later in the evening I also went down in my neighdourhood and tied friendship bands on my friends. That was my best friendships day till now.
